Poem From Hell!
My brethren in Christ,
Below is a perfect manifestation of 2Thes2:10-12, right now, in real time. A real tool of Satan. It's a smooth, deceptive little tear-jerker that was born in the heart of the Harlot and is fed to her deluded, compromising children. A precious sister received this recently and passed it on to me. I cannot let this sit in a dead file. My brother Mike took the initiative and added reproving scripture. As he stated to me, "Now you see the vivid contrast between what the Bible says about Christian Conduct and what people are being led to believe." Feast your eyes on deception '101' folks. Note the contrasts in the scriptures.

WHEN I SAY I AM A CHRISTIAN
When I say "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean living".
I'm whispering "I was lost",
Now I'm found and forgiven.
"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit. Let all bitterness, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you and all malice." Eph 4:29-31
"Keep Yourself PURE!" 1Tim 5:22 "Be DILIGENT to be found by HIM in peace WITHOUT Spot and BLAMELESS!" 2Pet 3:14
When I say "I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need CHRIST to be my guide.
"Let him show by GOOD CONDUCT that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom." James 3:13
"But the wisdom that is from above is first PURE, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy." James 3:17
When I say "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
and need HIS strength to carry on.
"Be STRONG in the Lord and the POWER of HIS Might! Put on the whole armor of God!" Eph 6:10-11
"WATCH, STAND FAST in the Faith, be BRAVE, be STRONG!" 1Cor15:13 "Make every effort to enter through the Straight Gate!" Luke 13:24
"Be Dressed and Ready for Service and KEEP your lamps burning!" Luke 12:35

I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and need God to clean my mess.

When I say "I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
but, God believes I am worth it.
"Be PERFECT as your Heavenly Father is Perfect!" Matt 5:48
"Study to Show yourself approved unto God, workmen that need not be ashamed!" 2Tim 2:15 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be PERFECT and thoroughly equipped for every good work!" 2Tim 3:16-17
"By WORKS Faith is made PERFECT!" James 2:22
"Let Steadfast endurance have its perfect work that you may be PERFECT and complete lacking nothing!" Jas1:4
When I say "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain,
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.
"I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me." Phil 4:13
"When I am weak, then I am STRONG!" 2Cor 12:10 "Walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.. Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious Power, for all steadfast endurance and longsuffering with Joy!" Col 1:10-11
When I say "I am a Christian"
I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner
who received God's good grace, somehow.
"Be HOLY in ALL your Conduct!" 1Pet 1:15
"Pursue Peace with all men and HOLINESS, without which NO ONE will see the Lord!" Heb 12:14 "That we may serve HIM without fear in HOLINESS and Righteousness before Him all the days of our life!" Luke 1:75

"For God did not call us to uncleanness but in HOLINESS!" 1Thess 4:8

An interesting perspective about the "Church" from a writer named Carridine:

There we have it. The Devils guide to defeat and ruin and a sad commentary from another grieving soul for the rape of the Bride. Saints, keep the armor on. It's raining Posers and delusion everywhere now. Stay on that narrow way. Accept no substitutes for the Truth. Desire it, seek it, LOVE it! And please read your Bibles! It's way out of hand out there.
