Once in a great while i turn on the t.v. to see what the wolves out there are doing. It was sure a fun mix...
First up was a well known poser that is now into a series about angels and demons and demon posession. His claim about "The coming Apostate Church" made me want to go to the toliet. I told the the t.v. "The apostate church is here..." but he went on telling the "paying customers" about abortion and demon music and all that other junk while sounding like a politician rather than a "man of god". And then peddled his cd's at the end.
After some other pastor rattled on that i hit the mute button, a local pastor was on with his polly on a bed in the church talking all about sex and how your "sex life" can be better by being a "christian". I was praying that God would come down and knock them off the bed...
Of course after that... "Jerry's" Son (or grandson...i have no idea) was talking about Jerry and his "Legacy" and then suckering the t.v. crowd to buy his "Home Cemetery School" and invest in C.D's so that you can pass the bucks on to them after you die. Hey, hope their dividends dry up when God throws down his wrath upon this earth.
I finally had enough when the next pastor was speaking about "Sex and the Single Life". I think my wife hit the toilet about 5 times during this charade.
It's out there....plain as the eye can see. Or should i say it's not. All truth of the bible is NOT being preached...at all..from the pulpits. But thats the way Father said it would be. It's not better out there in radio or the net either. So waht do we do as "true" saints of God...huh.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty... Psalms 91:1. It's all about your own walk with Father. There is no cd, study book,devotion, t.v. posers or pollys that can do anything about your walk! Read your Bible and Let God your Father reveal all things to you. Amen.
